Greenfield Port at Vadhavan

Under the Sagarmala initiative of the Government of India, the greenfield port at Vadhavan was planned as satellite port to the JNPT Port (Mumbai). Considering the growing demand at JNPT, the port at Vadhavan was envisaged to flank the existing JNPT port by developing a deep water port with state-of-the-art facilities including logitics park, roadways and rail freight corridors.

 
 

Coastal Berth at JN Port

Location: Uran, Navi Mumbai, India
Client: JNPT
Project Cost: INR 1.43 Billion

Due to continuous growth in container cargo and increase vessel size in the global market, the JN Port developed a widened and deepened channel through this coastal berth. With increasing cargo handling requirements, consequent expansion in its capabilities and competition from neighbouring ports, this berth will facilitate handling new generation container vessels with wider beam and deeper drafts.
